Managing Director
In my early career days as an IT Service Engineer, I was frustrated by the reactive nature of my job. Working with small business owners it was clear reactive services weren’t providing an effective IT service for their businesses. With the help and support of my family PC Comms was born in 2003. The aim being to provide a virtual or outsourced IT department fit for small businesses providing proactive IT support services.
Since then, PC Comms has established itself as a well-known and trusted IT Service provider.
Outside of work my interest are spending quality time with my Family and friends, I can often be found socialising with a cold beer and cooking outside on the BBQ.
My hobbies revolve around Rugby and Cycling, having played Rugby, for North Petherton, Somerset, Bristol, and the Southwest of England under 21s back in the day, I continued to play for North Petherton until mid-30’s, and still occasionally dust of the boots for a game. Although I must allow several days for recovery! Cycling keeps me fit and I enjoy getting outdoors on the bike around Somerset and in 2017 I completed the Lands’ end to John O’Groats cycle in 12 days raising funds for local charities.
I am also a Trustee for the Josh Evans Trust Found a charity very close to my heart, where we help newly diagnosed diabetic families in Somerset. And a member of Taunton Round Table, although I am now past retirement age for this group so moving on to get involved with the Taunton 41 Club.

In my free time I enjoy walking my three dogs, running, cycling, keeping fit and chilling with my family.
General Manager
My focus outside of work is my wife and children. Following a very close second is my passion for Man United and football! I think my passion for management stems from growing up, witnessing the success that Man United have achieved and how it was the result of strong leadership.
I started working with PC Comms in 2004. Since then I’ve fulfilled the roles of Onsite Engineer, Helpdesk and Backbench Technician, Helpdesk Manager and worked up to my current position of General Manager. My experience in each of these roles allows me to relate to our team and develop automation to assist the team working in those areas.
Claim to fame, I once attended a funeral with Kate Bush. I’ve also appeared on TV on a number of occasions, including the panel talking about me during an England football game, in the audience during a recording of Deal or No Deal and have had the honour of receiving a wedding card from Sir Alex Ferguson, as well as meeting the Man Utd players on a number of occasions.
IT Infrastructure & Project Lead
I’ve been working for PCCOMMS for 11 years and my interests are Virtualization, 365 and Azure. Outside of work I like DIY projects, cooking, sport and keeping fit. My motto is “Life is too short so give everything a go!
IT Infrastructure & Security Lead
I’m a Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Specialist. I’ve worked in the IT industry since 2001, with my main skillsets being Windows Server, Server Virtualisation, Cyber Security & Networking.
Currently studying for both the Comptia Security+ and Comptia Pentest+ exams.
I have a passion for all things ‘techie’, so when I’m not working or studying, you’ll probably find me tinkering with some new technology or catching up with the latest sci-tech news. Either that I’m being dragged out in the Cornish sun by my family so I can burn… I mean do the gardening or take the kids to the beach!.
My claim to fame… I once met Geoffrey from Rainbow, and Noel Edmunds!
Developments & Project Engineer
At the weekends you’ll find me at the climbing wall, out on a hike taking photos of nature or fishing at the lake. When at home (which is a lot lately!) I listen to new music, play the guitar or plan my next holiday!
At work, I’m big into networking, cyber security and hardware.
Senior Project Technician
Outside of work I enjoy playing football and supporting Liverpool FC. I also assist in coaching VPR FC, a local kids team. I enjoy fishing, going for walks with my family and in 2002 I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
The best part of my job is working with Remote Desktop Services and Hyper-V environments.
Support Desk Lead
I enjoy spending time with my family, gaming, looking at the latest technology and how this helps us with our day to day lives. I have a passion for being outdoors, especially camping and outdoor hobbies including walking and Airsoft.
I also love coming to work and helping people with their IT issues and I get a huge sense of fulfilment when I’m able to resolve the issues for them.
Support Technician
I’m James, I have over a decade experience supporting users, computer systems and networks.
I enjoy helping others and the sense of achievement from resolving their computer problems.
I like to focus on all thing’s website related and anything network based, though working at PC Comms is ideal as it’s a constant mix support requests and helps keep my knowledge up to date.
In my free time I enjoy website development and Fishing.
I am heavily involved in Skateboarding in my free time, being a Skateboard GB certified coach and running my own Skateboarding School and skateboard clubs.
Being part of the local community and supporting it where I can, is important to me.
Security & Compliance Technician
Outside of working hours I spend my time reading, running and watching the Rugby (Union) and basketball. I’m am an avid fan of the national team England RUFC and a follower of LA Lakers and used to compete in running competitions.
My main IT passion is cyber security and I’m currently studying towards a BSc Degree in cyber security and enjoy any aspect of IT relating to this area.
Support Technician
I’m Sam, I’ve now worked in IT for a few years. I’ve always enjoyed playing PC games which led me to do a BTEC in computing and networking at college, then progressing to doing my bachelor’s degree in computer science.
I’ve always had interest in the system admin side of IT, helping people with their issues and getting a good job done.
Outside of work, I enjoy regularly going to the gym most mornings. In the evenings I usually take my little Pomeranian Bear out for a walk and chill watching YouTube. My other interests include socialising with my friends at the weekend, growing my tattoo collection and going urban exploring.
Sales & Projects Technician
My name is Ryan, I started working in IT at age 16, straight out of school but I have always had a passion for it. I studied computer game design at colleague and further IT systems qualifications.
I’ve always had an interest in the hardware side of IT; building and fixing PCs and laptops. I don’t do much IT related hobbies outside of work but I do like my console gaming.
Outside of work, my main hobby would be writing. I have one published book, called Disconnection and I am currently writing my second one. I won a young writers award when I was 15 years old and had a passion for it ever since. My other main hobby would be football, playing and watching. I am a fan of Liverpool FC and watch every game I possibly can.

Inside of work I enjoy learning new things about my role and other people’s roles. I also enjoy helping out customers and making sure they are updated and also helping out the team .
Outside of work I like to chill with family and friends, and I like going on adventures & holidays and taking time for myself. Also i enjoy helping out those around me and I have done some charity work in the past for a local charity.
Support Technician
I’m Josh and I am originally from Bournemouth. I’m an avid gamer achieving the highest ratings in World of Warcraft when I was younger. I now play video games with my girlfriend Ellie and we compete in ranked matches with each other. I’m very interested in data and I often love to find data patterns and use that to my strength when achieving a task.
Currently, I am studying for a Data Science degree and looking to use AI, Machine Learning and Data Structures in the future. I’m also really interested in helping others and I hope that wherever I go I can leave and / or make a positive impact.
Support Technician
I’m Beth, I’ve worked in IT for a few years and have lots of experience in Administration and Technical Support facing roles. Where most of my previous roles involved speaking to people on the phone and building up strong relationships with customers, I have a real drive to help others and enjoy talking to new people. I have always had a passion for IT Support and helping customers fills me with a great sense of triumph and I feel good because of this.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my dog Rolo who is a cockapoo. I love several different sports, football being my favourite and since I was small, I’ve followed Liverpool FC and my love for the club grows each year. I also follow local football and you’ll often find me at Wordsworth Drive supporting Taunton Town FC. If I’m not watching football in set seasons, I enjoy following T20 cricket and often attend games at the County Ground. Moving away from anything sport related, I also enjoy travelling making regular yearly visits to Cornwall. Last year I went to Lanzarote, Turkey and Rome, so I’m also happy to travel abroad at any opportunity possible (I actually have four tattoos that are travel inspired).
I would say I don’t do anything IT-related outside of work, but I do spend some of my time playing console games and I love to get myself involved in anything ‘techie’ – my family often have me on speed dial for repairs or advice on anything ‘technical’.
I’m an outgoing person who lives life to the full and I am always willing to expand my skills and learn new things. I really enjoy working at PC Comms and have a huge interest in Microsoft Office 365.
Projects & Installations Engineer
I’m Steve. In my spare time away from work I can normally be found running around the streets preparing for my next running challenge. I was lucky (or unlucky!) enough to get a place at the 2023 London Marathon, what an amazing experience. I also love playing and watching sports, with rugby being my main sport of choice having played for North Petherton since I was 5. Rugby is followed closely by Football and supporting Man United, much to the disgust of others in the office. Lastly, I’m lucky enough to have an amazing family and am often trailing behind the kids whilst they ride their bikes or running around kicking and throwing a ball around with the youngest.
Project Team Apprentice
In my spare time, I like to play on my PlayStation and recently bought a PC to play on there. My favourite game at the moment is Farming Simulator, and I enjoy playing it on the weekends. I am also quite into baking. My favourite thing I made was sticky toffee puddings, which I make at Christmas. Some other things I enjoy is going swimming and playing badminton when I go away on holiday as they have a really good badminton court.
My favourite area of IT is the hardware side of things as I enjoy putting bits together and learning more about each of the components used to make the computers work. I also have a passion for the web side of IT and enjoy building websites for fun using frontend web technologies. I also have a keen interest in AI and how it is used today, and where AI is used.
Before starting my apprenticeship at PC Comms, I did a Level 3 T-Level course at Strode College, which I really enjoyed doing, and got a really good result at it when the course ended. I also won the ‘Young Citizen of Street Award 2022’ whilst on the course for my outstanding efforts for my work placement, which was part of my course.
My hopes and aspirations while working at PC Comms is to learn and build upon my skills in IT and to put them into use to help customers with their IT issues and queries. I also aspire to get a good grade for my apprenticeship and a good result from it.
Support Team Apprentice
In my spare time I love to cook, I’m always looking to find new recipes to cook for my family, I play a lot of video games I most recently finished all the Arkham games, but my all time favourite thing to do is sit at home with a cup of tea and watch movies.
At the moment I’m trying to explore all different areas of IT so far I’ve really enjoyed the engineering side of IT, I do come from a family of engineers so that wasn’t surprising, but I’d love to learn more about Cybersecurity.
I’d love to travel to all different countries, the two countries I’d want to visit first are Trinidad and Italy, mostly because I love the food from both. Then after travelling, I would want to one day move to Scotland, as for the past two years now I’ve been over there quite a lot and have fallen in love with Edinburgh.
