Microsoft Issues ‘Critical’ Update Warning to millions of Windows Users.
But don’t hit the panic button just yet.
PC Comms have already approved this patch and deployed it to the 1700+ Computers we support on a daily basis.
However if you aren’t lucky enough to be on one of our service plans, then please run your Windows update as soon as possible.
The patch fixes some code in Microsoft’s Windows operating system which could allow hackers to access your computer. The infection can spread to other computers without any user interaction. Potentially infecting tens of millions of computers.
Affected versions of Windows include:
- Windows 7 SP1
- Windows Sever 2008R2 SP1
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows 8.1
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows Server 2019
- All current version of Windows 10.
