Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1 released 18th October

Exciting new versions of Server and Desktop OS available from Microsoft on 18th October 2013

Windows Server 2012 R2, will be released along with System Center 2012 R2 improving visualization, storage and business continuity.

Windows 8.1 brings back the start button for the Metro UI, we have tested it and like it, it doesn’t take long to get used to the Metro interface, and the OS appears to be as stable as Windows 7, however there are some legacy applications that need tweaking before they will run. Apart from that a welcome update to Windows 8.
